Cardiovascular Endurance Training- this is an important part of training because it is when your muscles need oxygen, your aerobic (cardiovascular) system must be able to efficiently deliver it. When your body has waste products that need to be expelled from the body, your heart-lung complex must be up to task.
Strength Training- With strength training, this is your ability to exert musculoskeletal force against an external object, such as a barbell, the ground, or an opponent, and it stems four main sources: structural, physiological, psychoneural, and environmental factors. Strength developed through resistance training helps to develop our musculoskeletal system, which is what gives us the ability to physically move using our muscles and bones.
Flexibility Training- This is the ability to flex, extend, or circumduct the joints through their full intended range of motion. Significantly improving your joints' range of motion without also improving the strength of your surrounding muscles can be an invitation to injury.
Core Training- Core training is the area of the body, which is commonly referred to as the core, is your midsection and it involves all your muscles in that area including the front, back and sides. The core includes the traverse abdominis (TVA), erector spinae, obliques and your lower lats.
Nutrition Guidance Plans- The composition of food that provides your body with all the nutrients it needs to remain healthy and active are based on your goals and body needs to live a healthy and effective lifestyle. There are major nutrients necessary for a healthy body. Each person is different and require different needs and plans will be based on your body type and needs.
Assessment: A general health and fitness assessment will include measurements of body composition, body weight, resting heart rate, cardiorespiratory endurance, muscle strength and flexibility.
